This Walthamstow solar panels installation just beat the January snows. Completed in January 2013, this 3kWp installation consisted of twelve Panasonic HIT 240W modules feeding an SMA SB3000HF inverter. The client forwarded us the image below just days after we had finished.
Designed for you:
At SogoSolar we do not install ‘kits’, all our systems are bespoke, designed specifically for your property and your requirements. Wherever possible, we use components from manufacturers with UK or EU based support teams. This in turn means that we are much better placed to support you, our customer.
Peace of mind: All our installations come with manufacturers’ warranty and an insurance-backed workmanship warranty. For residential installation, wherever possible, we provide a comprehensive after care service, which includes monitoring system performance for two years from installation. This has proved a valuable service for many of our customers, enabling us to demonstrate that that the systems are performing as designed.
Thought about Battery Storage?
With the feed-in-tariff now so low, the most important factor to consider when installing solar is ‘How am I going to use the energy generated and hence save on my bills ?’. For many people this means installing a battery storage system which will store the energy generated during the day and make it available in the evening. We know many of you are put off solar by its appearance. Here at SogoSolar we specialise in ‘integrated’ solar roofs which offer a much more sympathetic alternative. With ‘integrated’ systems, the solar panels themselves form the weatherproofing barrier of the roof, and as such, they replace the conventional tiles or slates. Such systems are often specified in locations where planning restrictions preclude the use of traditional framed modules installed ‘above’ the roof. Click here for more information on ‘integrated’ systems.
An alternative installation method is to install the panels ‘in roof’ where they sit flush with the tiles or slates. Click here for more information on ‘in roof ‘systems’.
“In contrast to representatives from other companies who had assessed my roof before, Ben also installs the panels and the inverter, he doesn’t just sell the systems while leaving details such as how and where cables are being run to the electricians – he takes all these things into account straight away. He’s patient, professional, listens well and communicates clearly enough for me, as a lay person, to understand the technical aspects. I recommend his services without hesitation.” – GA
