Designed in partnership with BMW, Solarwatt’s new Battery Vision model provides full compatibility and seamless integration with the Solarwatt ecosystem.
The SOLARWATT Battery Vision is a modular home energy storage system designed to help homeowners maximise their use of solar energy and reduce dependence on the grid. With a flexible capacity ranging from 5.2 kWh to 18.2 kWh, the system can be easily scaled by stacking 2.6 kWh modules to match evolving household energy demands. The battery offers both AC and DC coupling for new and retrofit installations, and features high-performance Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) cells developed in partnership with BMW. The integration of the Battery Vision with the Solarwatt inverters ensures optimal performance, efficient energy management.
It has a discharge rate of 900W per kWh of installed capacity, partial backup power capability (whole house backup not available), and smart energy management when paired with the SOLARWATT Manager Flex, it enables users to optimise energy usage and benefit from dynamic electricity tariffs.
