This Acton solar panels installation was a particularly interesting one. Sogo Solar were asked to install an integrated solar PV system to this modern new build with an aluminium roof. The dimensions of the roof required a bespoke design to achieve optimum yield for which GBSol Laminate panels lent themselves perfectly.

We constructed an aluminium frame first, then installed the 6 x 250W and 3 x 120W laminate panels into it, each fitted with Solaredge optimisers feeding the inverter.

SoGoSolar is an Advanced Accredited Installer of SolarEdge, an inverter system which results in each panel being electrically independent. This confers a number of benefits over conventional string system inverters including:
